After a bumpy road, some technical issues, and finally updating their website, I have to say I am very pleased that I stuck with Hoagland. I love supporting local businesses, and it’s satisfying to receive service that goes above and beyond as I did today. Thank you to Emily and the rest of the staff.

A big shout out and kudos to Hoagland Pharmacy for making it so easy to return expired and unused Rx. You walk in the Yew St store, open the container lid, and put the old drugs in the slot. And that's it--along with a quick interchange between a staff member thanking you for making sure the drugs stay out of the landfill. And I gratefully thank Hoagland's for supporting this community effort to keep our streams clean!

This is the best pharmacy in Bellingham! It offers a wide range of foreign travel vaccines as well as regular domestic vaccines; custom compounded medications for humans and animals; disposal of expired medications; medical equipment, medication therapy management, home delivery and expert advice. It is an independent pharmacy that provides excellent personalized service - something we rarely see nowadays in big chain pharmacies.

I had used a generic large company pharmacy for years purely out of, what I thought at the time was, convenience. And few years ago I decided to switch to a local pharmacy because I want to support my community in better ways. I found Hoagland’s and I just wanted to write about how drastically different my experiences have been since switching. Off the bay, It’s such a welcoming and clean place. I’m not waiting in a long lines and treated like a number. I walk in and multiple people greet me and are there to help me. Sometimes there is a rush of people, but when there is, I notice everyone working there jumps in to help. They clearly operate as a team, which I love. The staff has been beyond what I would expect. I realize it’s a business and it’s their job but, I do feel like Hoagland is more like a community and I am a part of it. I’ve had my doctors office mess up prescriptions or have had to deal with things through insurance that won’t go through and when I have any questions the managers there clearly care and have gotten me exactly the information I needed to fix the problem. I also love and appreciate the techs calling me and keeping me updated if there is a back order on my prescriptions! And even sometimes I forget and a couple days later I get another reminder call. Life is so busy and for them to just take that little bit of time to help me out…really, I couldn’t ask for much more! So thank you Hoagland for just being a better quality of business!

Compounding pharmacy. Great staff, solid offerings in store for health care + extras, i.e. winter wear, puzzles, in-home health aid equipment. Best place in town for regular & travel vaccines.

Best pharmacy ever. All of the staff is so helpful and friendly. They answer the phone if you need assistance, they go above and beyond. Our dog was at the end of his life and we needed some comfort care meds for him. We were obviously very upset and emotional. They stayed open late to fill a last minute prescription for us. Carson really went the extra mile for us and we will always remember that. Prior to that, every time we’ve filled prescriptions, they are prompt, they give accurate wait times for processing. We are so grateful for Hoagland Pharmacy!

Hoagland Pharmacy is hands down the best pharmacy I have ever used! Unlike traditional chains, they actually advocate for their patients. My specific dosage wasn't in stock, they proactively worked on my behalf to find a solution and guaranteed I’d be taken care of by tomorrow. Their customer service (Brittany) is professional, humanistic, and truly reliable. Highly recommended!

I called the pharmacy literally 3 minutes before they closed and the call was answered by Madi. She was amazing. Even though she probably just wanted to be done with her day she took the time to go above and beyond. She explained a program that my husband would qualify for and explained it in mentioning he’d be a perfect candidate for this program. She was kind, smart, and had great customer service.
